1st Anniversary Trip - Cozumel!

So I know this was over a year ago, but I thought I'd bring everyone up to speed on the past year or so of our lives. We went to Cozumel, Mexico for our anniversary last June. It was so beautiful. It was Cody's first experience on an airplane and our first time on an actual vacation, other than Las Vegas. We stayed for 10 days and it went by so fast!

This is Ik Kil, a cenote, its like an underground lake. The water was cold and there were little blue fish everywhere!

That's Cody jumping off the steps! I actaully got him in motion!

This is the view from our room. We stayed at the Wyndham All-Inclusive Resort and Spa and it was adults only. The food was good and the beach was beautiful.

This is Chichen Itza, its a Mayan ruin in Mexico. We went there for a day trip. It was so cool to see all the ruins.

Just like my mom, I have to take pictures of all the pretty flowers!

Our pretty sweet Jeep that we rented. It had no AC in 90 degree humid weather. We had it towed because Cody parked it in the wrong spot, but luckily the towing fees there are much cheaper than the US.

Me standing at the top of Punta Sur Light tower at the southern most tip of the island. It was the hottest day, I didn't want to do anything but lay in our room or in the water, but once we got to the top it was beautiful.

This is Bob Marley's Rasta Bar. It was kinda a scary place. Everything there has been signed by people who have visited it. So if you ever go there, remember, mine and Cody's names are in there, on the second floor, look for it :)

Getting Started... For Real This Time

Ok, so I know we're not the best at this whole blog thing since we've had it for over a year now and haven't used it more than the very first time, but I'm trying to get into it now. So forgive me if it takes forever for me to get it right or if i suck at keeping it up.

Not much has occured in the last year, although we do have our own home now which is very nice. Its not that we didn't love living below our best friends before, its just nice to not feel bad if you put holes in the walls while snowboarding down the stairs which we have yet to try in our home. At first Vinnie didn't know what to think of our house, because he could look out the windows, which he's never done before, and the heat vents are on the floor, not the ceiling. He was scared to death of them for the first couple of months. I think he likes it.

I need to get back to work but i will update later.
